Summit is looking for a sales driven, Commercial Insurance Specialist to join their core team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer first sales professional, who holds themselves to the highest standards and aligns their success to that of the customer.

Summit has an office in Kelowna, British Columbia Canada and offers a remote working environment accross Canada.

What you'll be doing:

  • Handle commercial insurnace leads provided to you by Summit 
  • Prospect and produce business from your network, our sales intelligence tools and beyond
  • Assess the needs of potential clients to advise on coverage requirements 
  • Work alongside team members to market leads to a variety of carriers
  • Persistently engage leads to convert requests for insurance into customers
  • Offer continuous support from information gathering, quote and to bind; to deliver a seamless and timely client experience 
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of each clients risk profile and help clients with any questions 
  • Recommend operational improvement in process to help further improve the client experience 
  • Provide feedback and insights to enhance product offerings over time
  • This posiiton requires a sales oriented and outgoing individual with a proven history of sales, networking and abilit to close 

Who we're looking for:

  • Level 2 license, RIBO license is an asset
  • 2+ years experience in an insurance, sales role
  • Commercial lines experience is required
  • Passion for sales
  • Persistence and motivation to meet set targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated flexibility in managing multiple clients at a time 
  • Independent, self-motivated, ambitious, competitive 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
