The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for creating and managing their own book of business. They will develop their own personal sales methodology and strategy, to achieve success and exceed their sales quote. They will work collaboratively with an account manager to deliver a high level of client service. The role will require you to improvise as necessary and, working autonomously to complete both well-defined and largely undefined projects. Your success will be dependent on your problem solving skills, ability to anticipate needs and deliver high quality work under deadlines. You will have outstanding communication skills, initiative, and entrepreneurial capacities.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop sales methodology and systems: Define strategy for entire sales process by conducting market analysis, solutions strategy, value proposition, and proposal development

  • Prospecting and networking within any industry space that aligns with our product solutions to develop new, long-term relationships

  • Attain or exceed sales quotas both individually and or the entire team

  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for short and long sales cycles 

  • Fully leverage and master the GENESIS CRM to drive efficient workflows across your business

  • Maintain accurate and complete records of contracts and exchanges for analysis and sales efforts

Who we're looking for:

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a data driven sales role
  • Experience selling digital or media advertising solutions into verticals such as CPG & retail is preferred 
  • Proven ability to sell into high-level leadership (including C-level) and to navigate client organizations to connect with the business owner/ decision maker
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (candidates will be epxected to do a mock pitch as part of the hiring process)
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with the demonstrated ability to close the deal
  • Flexibility, accountability and resourcesfullness, to work with little direction in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Ability to think and act like an entrepreneur, utilizing creative thinking to deliver value to your stakeholders
  • Ability to independently multi-task, efficiently prioritize tasks, and drive projects to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly when facing problems and ability to translate knowledge to knew situations
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and across a variety of cultures
  • Strong work ethic and integrity to handle confidential/ sensative information
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently
  • Ability to effectively cope with change and maintain focus 
  • Highly organized and able to work in a very fast-paced environment

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 
  • 5+ years sales or a similar role
