Overview

QuoteToMe is looking for an Account Executive to join their Sales Team as they continue our growth across Canada & the US as a best in class Procure-Pay solution for the construction industry.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for selling to qualified contractor prospects in the funnel using your knowledge of QuoteToMe's product and construction procurement best practices.

The expectation will be that you will handle the full sales cycle through the stages: Lead Nurturing, Prospecting, Discovery, Product Demonstration, Negotiation and Closing.

QuoteToMe is an in-field + mobile-first procure-to-pay platform designed for the construction industry that saves contractors time, helps prevent project delays, and creates consistent free cash flow for their business.

 

The Role:

 

You will focus on companies that can benefit from QuoteToMe’s digital purchasing solution for the construction industry. Through technical integrations the business has built with existing construction software products including: Procore, Viewpoint, Sage, and QuickBooks - your focus will be on targeting qualified leads who are already utilizing these systems. QuoteToMe is a strong compliment to these existing technology providers as an end to end procure-pay solution plug-in.

 

The primary function of this position is new account acquisition where you will need to be comfortable generating lead-targeting lists, initiating new relationships with key contacts, and supporting this relationship through to a successful trial period and ultimate contract negotiation. This includes cold-calling, prospecting, qualifying, conducting product demonstrations, solution selling, negotiation, execution of service agreements, and closing the sale in coordination with our Customer Experience and Product teams.

 

Your contribution to the team will be to grow QuoteToMe’s customer base primarily across Canada and also the US. The right candidate should be a natural self-starter, driven and motivated to succeed, who comes with sales and marketing ideas and has direct experience in helping to scale a marketplace, and ideally has experience selling construction SaaS products.

 

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Prompt follow-up of new prospects/leads 
  • Create prospecting plans for territory/key account development in order to generate rapport and opportunities
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and obtain business requirements 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts 
  • Provide the QuoteToMe team with reports on sales activities and projects as requested 
  • Research and learn about competitive landscape to better explain our value proposition to customers 
  • Manage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities, and account information within Hubspot CRM 
  • Obtain repeat business, referrals, and references by applying an understanding of the unique requirements of your customers 
  • Networking, relationship building, cold calling, lead follow-up through emails, product demonstrations, and execution of service agreements
